CityVille Tips RevealedI stumbled across this guide while searching for CityVille tips on Google.  CityVille is one of the more complicated Facebook games to be released in recent memory.  If you’re having issues getting into the swing of things, realize that you’re not the only one.  Looks can be deceiving, and while CityVille might appear to be just a bit of light fun, it’s got an underlying complexity that can be very difficult to tackle.  Personally, I don’t like to get into a game like this unless I plan on becoming very good at it.

So, the CityVille Secrets guide.  I’ll tell you something—it’s been absolutely indispensible.  I can’t even imagine how many hours I might have wasted on trial and error if I hadn’t read this thing.  The CityVille tips, strategies and techniques that it provides not only work, but work extremely well, and have definitely given me an edge.  Not to mention, the guide is constantly being updated with the latest information about the game, so you can rest assured that what you’re reading is totally up-to-date.

It’s easy reading too.  The author is very straightforward and to-the-point.  I had no trouble following any of the instruction.

Even after reading the guide cover-to-cover twice, I still use it as a reference to this day.  And the results have been spectacular.  I have a constant and enormous influx of coins, and I’m currently at level 41… and growing.  If you’re looking for the very best in CityVille tips, strategies and secrets, I can’t recommend this guide enough.  Whether you’re a total newbie or an old pro, there’s something in here for you.

Don’t get banned from CityVille!

Some words of caution from CityVille Tips Revealed

It’s come to my attention that there are a number of shady strategies and hacks out there for use in CityVille that go directly against the terms of service that Zynga has created for the game.  While it may be tempting to use these to gain an advantage, I really, REALLY can’t recommend it.  I did a bunch of research on the topic, visited player forums, did a lot of googling, and the conclusion I’ve come to is that it’s just not worth the risk.  Zynga can and will ban your account if they find any evidence of wrongdoing.  I wouldn’t even for a second consider using hacks that claim to be safe.  There have been hacks in the past that claimed this, only to result in Zynga catching on, cracking down and banning a bunch of people.

Seeing hours upon hours of hard work flushed down the drain is absolutely no fun.  I actually know this firsthand after being banned from Farmville last year.  Never again.  While I’d like to believe that everyone who uses shady means to gain an advantage would be banned so as to keep things fair, that will likely never be the case.  Fortunately, these shady means are not necessary, not with the right CityVille tips and strategies at your disposal.

The focus of this blog is going to be LEGAL CityVille tips and strategies.  Nothing you see here is going to get you in trouble with the law (err, Zynga).  While some of the tactics that I use are so downright sneaky that I’d wonder why Zynga hasn’t put a stop to them (they’re THIS close to being total exploits!), there’s nothing I’ve done that Zynga considers illegal.

For completely legal CityVille tips, I’d recommend CityVille Secrets.  I know I promised a legit review of this guide, and it’ll be coming in my next post.  But I thought I should get the whole ‘ban warning’ thing out of the way first.

What is CityVille?

A brief summary from CityVille Tips Revealed

Before entering the vast, vast world of Cityville, I’d like to make an introductory post here for those who are unfamiliar with Zynga’s spectacular Facebook Game CityVille.  Released in December of 2010, Cityville has already proven to be one of the company’s most successful efforts, even beating out the uber-popular Farmville.

The game takes a bit of its inspiration from the venerable SimCity series.  The player is tasked with becoming the mayor, and growing his or her city from a tiny town to a sprawling metropolis.  Unlike SimCity, there is a strong community aspect to the game that is aided by the game’s connection to Facebook.  Players can perform tasks within their neighbor’s city to earn a higher reputation, and can also buy and sell goods to other players.  The ultimate goal of the game, beyond simply growing one’s city, is to reach specified goals and earn City Coins, which are used to purchase items within the game.

It’s also possible to buy these coins directly from Zynga using real money.  So basically, anyone with a big real-life bank account is going to have a distinct, and perhaps unfair advantage in the game.  I’d like to help level the playing field.  I encourage you not to spend your hard-earned cash on something like this, because in my opinion it’s just not worth it, once you have the right knowledge about the game.   With some good Cityville tips—the focus of this blog—you won’t need to resort to that.

If you’re struggling in the game and on the lookout for some excellent Cityville tips, check out the Cityville Secrets guide.  I’m a huge fan, and I’ll be writing an actual review of this guide in a later post..
